G&N Developments is helping during the pandemic
G&N Developments Inc. is responding to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis by providing critical support to our tenants and most vulnerable local communities at 100 Sunrise Avenue. Despite having our own COVID-19 related business challenges and losses, we are supporting all our tenants by offering various relief options and participating in the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (“CECRA”) program.
G&N Developments is also supporting two of our vulnerable not-for-profit tenant communities severely impacted by the pandemic: the Ontario Para Network and local low income artists in the neighbourhood. Although the Ontario Para Olympic Network recently had their funding cut, we are donating space to help para-athletes transition back to sport, physical activity and mental wellbeing. This can be an overwhelming and frightening time, even more so for differently abled-athletes.
In response to the dramatic effects of COVID19 on local emerging artists and creatives, G&N Developments is offering subsidized working studio spaces at 100 Sunrise to support diverse, under-represented artists & creatives in the neighbourhood. Sunrise Studios is a 2,500 sf space that also provides opportunity to exhibit work in the adjoining Gallery106. 100 Sunrise provides your business with a unique space, ready for you to create the successful enterprise you imagine. Below we have included 3 distinct stories of how some of our tenants embraced the 100 Sunrise spirit.
Ontario Para Network
Ontario Para Network (ONPARA) is dedicated to growing opportunities for participation in adaptive sports. As the governing body for wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis in the province, ONPARA offers opportunities for athletes with and without physical disabilities to participate in recreational, competitive and high performance programs.
OnPara worked closely with 100 Sunrise to develop an office and training facility to match their growth needs, providing new opportunities and working towards a fully inclusive sport system together.

Beach Cheer Athletics
Beach Cheer Athletics aims to positively impact the lives of youth through the sport of cheer, ninja and tumbling. One of the fastest growing gyms in Toronto, BCA provides a safe and thriving environment to and teach youth life lessons through the sport of cheerleading. Over the years, BCA worked closely with 100 Sunrise to develop a space that matched their growth needs.
